When you stay at Gudenå Camping, you literally live with Denmark's longest river as your closest neighbour. The Gudenå River flows calmly right past our campsite, and the unique river atmosphere sets the scene for a holiday characterised by peace, intimacy and unique nature far away from the noise of the big city and heavy traffic.
The Gudenå River is a source of great experiences here, whether you want to experience it from the water or follow it on foot.
The Gudenå Trail is a fantastic, newly inaugurated hiking route that stretches 175 kilometres from the source of the Gudenå River to Randers Fjord.
Best of all? Stage 4 starts right here at Gudenå Camping! This stage stretches over 9.4 kilometres and takes you directly to one of Denmark's most popular attractions, The Uncovered Bridge.
We want to be honest with our guests: Stage 4 doesn't run close to the river bank all the way. Instead, the route follows smaller, paved side roads through the terrain. But don't let that fool you! The Danish agricultural landscape is something very special indeed. You'll be hiking through incredibly beautiful, hilly terrain with open spaces, idyllic fields and a peaceful atmosphere that gives you plenty of space to think.
